My friend from RL hacks, and no matter how much i tell him he's a douchebag for doing it (If that's a cuss, tell me) he sees no reason to stop because the worst that happens is he gets banned for a month, ohnoez...he'll just play audition for a while until it's over...

Not something wise to do. Some people get banned just for trying to beat a hacker at his/her own game.

I know some hackers who hack "to compete against those other hackers." This really doesnt make the situation better, it just adds to the annoyance of the true legits - it's like fighting fire with fire, and having both fires rage out of control.

well people got to stop complaining about hackers here. we all know they are big problems. but what can we do? absolutley nothing besides reporting them or if you are a nx user, threaten nexon by boycotting more NX purchase.
