Maybe add an option in your profile whether you want to see swearwords censored or not.

Or we can add another option underwarnings for bypassing. That'll clear the problem up quick smart.

Yeah, bypassing the curse filter is against the rules... there probably should be a warning for it.

That's just like saying that "everyone knows about smoking, so what is point of preventing adolescents from smoking?" That's a dumb argument, no offense.
Maybe we should add a warning system, or just keep the current filter.

What is the intended age group for maplestory? 13-15. Any decent parent, ergo one worth respecting the wishes of, will object to an enviroment like the one your suggesting. Now I for one tend to object to this behaviour from people of that age. I don't care if it is just a forum: I'm here to look after it and it's users, providing an enviroment that isn't a cess pool falls under that.

I guess it could fall under trolling?

I can't even spell the word Anakarune without being censored!!!
I don't see the point of censoring this word when u still can say f*** but change order of the letters!
As i'm playing MSSEA, people tend to convert Cantonese foul terms into han yu and still be able to say 'em! Especially when they mega! Has the world's younger generation lost their civil tongue?!?!

I must agree with krnboy, but it's not entirely right. Lots of people know swear words, even little children (which is very sad), but we shouldn't encourage it or make it a regular thing. Warnings should be okay for full swear words.
