ok. so whenever i start up maple it has an error that says..

"error code : -2005532292 (unknown error 0x8876017C)"

any ideas?

Not to sound rude, but try "Search" there are many threads with common problems.

It could be an account, there used to be a 'pointer error' that would last for a bit on certain characters/accounts, was awkward, and unfixable, but I don't think it's what you have wrong.

Anyway, try restarting your pc, deleting your GG folder (So that it redownloads fresh). If it's still not working, try reinstalling as well, although it is said to not work it could help.

I had that happen once yesterday when the servers were riding the rollercoaster.

Try again today, see if it loads.

Yeah, Jiahao has some kind of obsession with reformatting computers for every tiny error.

Like in one of the connection issue threads

"Reformat your computer"
"Nah just reset gameguard, that works."

Reformatting your computer isn't the be-all and end-all for MS, it mostly just makes you have to redownload maple + gets rid of everything inc. viruses. So, unless it's virus related or space related, reformatting will most likely do sht all for MS

Jeeze you guys are fast, I'm doing with a cold for 3 days and you've already become a mob of formatters. If anyone says format that the following don't credit as knowing enough to give that advice, it's safe to ignore them;

As for the error, if a reinstall didn't fix it I'm guessing it's a bad ram block that hasn't been cut off yet; Try http://www.memtest.org/ and failing that you may have to resort to replacing the ram. That's assuming it's faulty of course.
