    Ever been to anything stronger than DT's? They have a lot of weapon defense I believe *cough* DT's have 700 weapon defense*cough* and to be able to ignore that is a big deal.

    Assassinate is useful for bossing and moving around.

    CBs will always pwn Hermits. It's the way life is. We are the most versatile 3rd job, and on top of that, the sexiest.

    Wristguard[s], Maple Shield[s],

    Defense skills :

    Shield Mastery, Smoke bomb [4th job], Meso Guard [most important one]

    Attack :

    Meso explosion, can go up till 300k damage.
    Assassinate, can go up to 150k with crit damage and crit hope.
    Assulter stuns a foe and ignores his W.DEF.
    Boomerang step hits 6 monsters in a row, and the damage is pretty neat.

    Our defense sucks.
    As for attack, M.E and Assasinate pretty much outdamage every Hermit skill.

    But guess I was wrong.
    Cuz Nexon likes to screw up on us.
    The bandit class is WAY more rigged.
    You thought every job was equal while you were at the top. Now that you're not you say it's unfair. Think about it, Sins don't get weaker, the other classes start to catch up.

    I believe you meant, "Sins don't get weaker, the other classes get stronger."

    On topic, Hermits don't COMPLETELY suck. They can still KS but they slowly get weaker as they gain levels.

    Yup yup, they start out the best, and honestly if you're willing to start with some money input you can gain the most amount of money on a Hermit once you hit lvl 100. No other class gets more profit at that point, however the upkeep of one is a bit hard depending on your standards.

    They aren't the best as endgame nears, but they have reasons to be played all the way throughout.

    I decided for "catch up" because I was seeing the whole situation as a race in wich the sins start ahead of the other classes:
    - Tobi/Steely
    - 5ATK or better WG
    And don't forget Lucky Seven and its damage formula.
    Plus, while Sins make L7 better with every SP in Crit, Bandits need to max Mastery, then Savage Blow until lvl21 before they can use the it. Something similiar with Shadow Partner for Hermits and Assaulter for CB.

    At higher levels all other jobs start to use better equips and their main skills are maxed, so the distance between them starts to shorten.

    Of course my English needs improvement, so the expresion may be completely wrong.
