Browse the forums and the main sites. And take all the random information you find and put it into a Guide. That's what everyone has done till now.

And having an islander yourself isn't on the minus side.

Pro:
Monsters on maple island do less damage than their victorian counterparts

<edit>I'm sorry, I think I may have actually greatly underestimated this one, beginner defense formula is actually better than other classes so it appears they take less damage by comparison (since im used to making a class upgrade and training on orange mushrooms that do about 30 damage as opposed to maple islands 20)

point stands though. Less damage recieved. No monster will ever hit more than 20 damage.
