    Default Is Genesis Overpowered?

    Genesis vs Meteo/Blizzard
670base dmg 3.5k mp/cast at maxed lvl for genesis
770base dmg 7k mp/cast at maxed lvl for meteo/blizzard with amp.
    Same Range

    Without AMP
670base dmg 3.5k mp/cast at maxed lvl for genesis
570base dmg 3.5k mp/cast at maxed lvl for meteo/blizzard without amp.
    Same Range

    In 3rd job
    IS vs SR vs Explosion

    With AMP
SR has 105 base attack with less range with 50 mp cost
IS has 121.5 base attack with 200% range and 100 mp cost
Explosion has 162 base attack with 200% range 100 mp cost

    Without AMP
SR has 105 base attack with less range and 50 mp cost
IS has 90 base attack with 200% range and 50 mp cost
Explosion has 120 base attack with 200% range and 50 mp cost

Let me hear your thoughts of this issue.

Clerics got shafted damage wise during 3rd job, so it's all good.

    Feels good man

I don't see why people keep complaining about Genesis being overpowered. Without Elemental Amplification, all three of those skills use 3500 MP and have 570 attack power, except for Genesis which has 670. Elemental Amplification gives the skills for the other two classes more attack power than that of Genesis, and Priests don't get Elemental Amplification.

The other two skills with major mp costs are balanced out with "infite mp", where just like it sounds, they get infinite mp. I don't know about you, but using some massive skill like meteo/blizzard as many times as you want for a limited time strikes me as unbalanced, not bishops finally getting an attack skill.

SR is IS, but with no freeze and less of a range and HA is just useless (*flame shield up*).

**** of course he does ;)

On topic: It's about time priests got some uber-hax skills. Us mages have had them for ever, and fair is fair.

But we get a sexier summon. Bahamut's pretty but yeah, it's just Eric the summon dragon on speed. Can't wait for my lil' monster dude <3

(oh btw, incase you're wondering, my friend named her summon dragon Eric. And it's just sort of stuck >.>)
    This is a signature. Hurrah.

Inifinite magic won't help in the long run. At maxed lvl infinite mp last for 40 seconds and has a cooldown of 10minutes.

Bishop still dominate the skelegon map by spamming genesis, it is way cheaper and faster then normal training at skelegon.

SR and IS has major difference if the range and freezing ability are only in IS but not SR.

I don't think it is overpowered, since clerics are kind of screwed over on power in second job. Also, a correction. Ice strike uses 50 MP without element amplification, not 100, so when element amplification is maxed, it uses 100 mp, not
    200.

EDIT: The above is the same for explosion for fire mages also. And priests don't get element amplification.

i dont think it's over powered

the mages have to double that mp usage but only get a 35% boost so it doesn't seem worth it in my opinion
