From what I know of, I've never seen anyone use that word as an insult and I doubt anyone would start it if you unblock it.

even though im kinda against G@Y- marriages and stuff, i dont think its a curse word.
But alot of people just dont like G@Y's, so they use it as a insult.
Example:
dude: Your ugly and fat
guy: your G@Y
dude: your g@y-er go j*** off a cow.

the word meant "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy", though this usage is infrequent today.

*** now has 3 meanings, and even in some reputable dictionaries.
1.Happy
2. Stupid
3. ****sexual

Many people will say "You're ***! 2nd definition", it's happened alot, ingame, online and IRL, I've heard it.

Also, even though Jed will simply ignore it...
Besides the points given above, a word isn't deemed wrong by society's means, but by it's actual definition.

I could go aroudn saying people are "Cool" and be thinking it means "****sexual", and say it in such a manner. Most people won't catch on, until it's widely spread. In fact, I know a lot of people who do this as well, offline and on. Yet it's not banned, now is it?

You gotta consider the amount of people that SW forum has, the majority of the people there is much more mature during discussion than most of us here.

The majority of HS population is at a lower age group, it may seem like there are many older people here but it is just those few that post frequently.

Nobody has presented any reason for it to be unblocked yet, other than in topics which result in flaming and are unwelcome here because of that.

Well, SW has a much more severe WARNING system.

Which helps keep people in check. Does a lot better than a "Lol I censor your words" block.

Well there are pros and cons for both system, but HS chose the blocking system. You must consider the amount of young people that is skimming through this forum.
