    ¤. Introduction
This is a guide-through for Beginners. Not a guide designed specially for high leveled Beginners. This is my own overlook and journey as a Beginner, and how I trained mine. Hopefully this will be to some help for others as well.

    #. Accuracy Table
The accuracy table. Here you can keep an overview of your character's stats and how much accuracy you need enable to 100% hit your next target.

    1. Starting a Beginner
A Beginner's training is all based on it's Strength and Dexterity. Intelligence (INT) and Luck (LUK) is not needed for this class. So do not bother get a high dice with them or raise them later on in the game. The Strength and Dexterity however is. The higher STR you have the more damage your character will inflict and the higher DEX you have the more accuracy your character will earn. 4dex = 3accuracy. And some monsters require a certain amount of accuracy for you to hit. The perfect start would be - ? Str, ? Dex, 4 Int, 4Luk. Four is the minimum level of any skill. So make sure to have your Int and Luk at that when you create your character. The Strength and Dexterity is unimportant at this point.

    2. Maple Island
Ah, your Beginner is finally made? Well, your journey has just begun!
Maple Island is the perfect place to start getting to know your Beginner; The monsters are weak, the world itself is small and we have a few simple quests that has to be done.
The monsters you will encounter at Maple Island are; Jr. Sentinel, Leatty, Snail, Blue Snail, Shroom, Red Snail, Pig, Slime, Stump, Orange Mushroom. None of these require any accuracy. After you first advance from level 1 - 2, you will be awarded with Ability Points (AP) and Skill Points (SP). The ability points allows you to raise your Character's stats. Then we're back at STR and DEX. Here you should add all the 5 Ability Points you'll receive straight into strength. Why? Because none of the monsters on Maple Island requires any Dex or accuracy to be killed. So you can keep on adding all the 5 ability points into STR until you are level 7, then you add 3 into DEX and 2 into STR until you are level 10. The Skill Points allows you to raise your skills. YES! Beginners do get skills, although we only have four to choose from, and they aren't really impressive, except for the Legendary Spirit. The skills you have as a Beginner are:
Three Snails: Hurls snail shells to attack monsters from long distance. Master level - 3
Recovery: Enables the user to recover HP constantly for 30 sec. Terms between skills: 10 min. Master level - 3
Nimble Feet: Enables the character to move around quickly for a short amount of time. Terms between skills: 15 min. Master level - 3
Legendary Spirit: Uses the spirit of a legend to use a scroll on an item that cannot be equipped with your character. Master level - 1
(The Legendary Spirit is a skill you will earn later on in the game. Click here to find out how).

After you finish all your quests on maple island, you can go talk to the Ship Crew in Southperry and for only 150 meso he will take you to Victoria Island. Where the real adventure begins! However, I strongly suggest you get it to level 10 on Maple Island and obtain The Relaxer before you leave.

    3. Level 10 - 20
I assume you have reached Lith Harbor by now. Remember to visit Lith Harbor's Weapon & Armor shop before you leave, there you will find -
    (Weapon): Long Sword | Required Level: 10 | Attack: 27 | Speed: Fast | Price: 3000
    (Hat): White Bandana | Required Level: 10 | Weapon Defense: 8 | Price: 2000
(Top (IF Female)): Pink Starry Shirt / Red Striped T-Shirt | Required Level: 11 | Weapon Defense: 11 | Price: 3000
    (Top (IF Male)): Blue One Lined T-Shirt/Orange Sporty T-Shirt | Required Level: 11 | Weapon Defense: 11 | Price:3000
    (Bottom): Ice Jeans | Required Level: 16 | Weapon Defense: 13 | Effects: Mp +3 | Price: 4800
    Sandblasted Jeans | Required Level: 16 | Weapon Defense: 13 | Effects: Hp +3 | Price: 4800
    (Shoes): Aroa Boots | Required Level: 16 | Weapon Defense: 7 | Price: 5000
There is a cheaper pair of shoes located in Kerning City's Armor store for only 2000 mesos, called Gomushin for level 11.
I would also assume you're somewhat funded. If this Beginner is your first character, you can resell your old armor from Maple Island, that you will no longer be needing. There is also no need for hyperventilation if you cannot afford it all right away. The most important right now is the Long Sword for extra attack boost. You can come back for the other armor later. After you have purchased the necessary armor. You can continue to the next map located at the right side of Lith Harbor, and keep going right from there on, after a while you will reach Henesys. Here you can start right on your quests if you wish, and earn some easy experience and some mesos/potions. Or you can just carry on through the bottom right portal of Henesys, which will take you to "Hill East of Henesys" from there keep going right till you get to "Forest South of Ellinia" there you can enter the portal above you, which will take you to a map full of Slimes. This is the perfect training place all the way to level 15. And fear not if you die a few times, since the Beginner is the novice class for MapleStory your experience will not be reduced when you die. If you find the Slimes boring, you can always try the Pig at Pig Beach, but you will also have to live with the Ribboned Pig which is quite annoying at level 10. For every time you level up between 10-15 you can add 2 Ability Points into DEX and 3 into STR. Like that, you won't lack any accuracy when you head towards tougher monsters later on. When you finally hit level 15, you can leave the Slime Tree and enter a different tree a bit further up. The tree should contain Green Mushrooms, they're not too hard to kill and give quite a lot of exp for your level. I trained on those myself all the way up to level 21.
You can also train in the Rain Forest or Pig Beach as well now. You should be strong enough to kill the Ribboned Pig with ease.
Also, at level 15. You can go visit the Henesys Weapon & Armor store. There you will find a stronger weapon called Leather Purse. It's for level 15 and it gives 5 more attack than the Long Sword. And if you talk to Jim from Da Streetz in Kerning City, he will create a Work Glove for you. It gives 2 weapon defense and has 5 slots to upgrade. Although you will need to hunt down pigs for 15 Leathers in order to make one. Also if you visit Showa Town through the Zipangu Tour Guide you can obtain a Bathrobe from the Bathhouse. It gives +10 Speed and 20 defense, it's for level 20 or higher and it has a whole 10 slots to upgrade! It's sold for 15000 mesos.

    4. Level 21 - 30
At level 21 you can go try out the Kerning City Party Quest. You enter a party with 4 people and take on the Kerning challenge. You will work together to complete the various quests. The party quest has a total of 5 stages + bonus. You will earn scrolls, potions, and items from the quest, as well as experience. It's a nice way to level and earn money for future armor. However, I suggest making some friends before taking it on, since not many people are too patient with us Beginners and it might be hard to get someone to party you. As for the training. You can basically continue at slaughtering piggies at Pig Beach all the way up to 25. They drop some nice items once in a while too, most of them are for Job-Advanced characters though, but great meso if you sell them to an NPC. At around level 23-24 you can move on to the Dungeon in Sleepywood if the pigs bore you. There you will find the Horny Mushroom as well as the Zombie Mushroom. They are a bit stronger and the exp is greater. There you will also meet a lot of fellow maplers training as well. And they are usually a lot nicer and will probably party with you in training if you ask them nicely. At level 25 and 26 you can go purchase new armor again! If you visit Kerning City and Henesys, you will find the following -
    Kerning City
    (Weapon): Plunger | Required Level: 25 | Attack: 44 | Price: 20.000
    (Hat): Starry Bandana | Required Level: 25 | Weapon Defense: 25 | Price: 7400
    Henesys
(Pants (Male ONLY)): Camo Pants | Required Level: 26 | Weapon Defense: 19 | Effect: Hp +5 | Price: 14000
    (Shoes): Whitebottom boots | Required Level 26 | Weapon Defense: 13 | Effects: Speed +3 | Price: 15000
You can also go to Niora's Hospital at Kerning City and talk to Jane Doe to start the Mystery at Niora Hospital quest to obtain a cape for level 25 called Old Raggedy Cape, it gives +10 Avoid, which can prevent some monsters from hitting you.
If you are a Nexon Cash user, you can also purchase Gachapon Tickets from the Cash Shop and talk to the Gachapon at Henesys for a chance to obtain the Frozen Tuna. It's a weapon designed specially for Beginners and it gives a whole 85 attack! (varies between 85-90). It's for level 20 Beginners and requires 80 Strength to be equipped. If you get this weapon, you have a good secured weapon all the way up to level 60 at least. Although the Frozen Tuna has become incredible rare and hard to get. If you have kept on doing what I told you with the dexterity and strength, you should have about 60 dex at level 28-30. Leave it there! Raising the dexterity any higher than 60 is unnecessary. The strongest monster a Beginner will ever train on requires no more than 74 accuracy. And that, you can easily get with an accuracy scrolled Work Glove. Focus on the Strength from now on. And rather improve your training speed by adding more AP into STR.

    5. Level 31 - 40
At level 31 you can go deeper into the Sleepywood Dungeon and train on the Evil eye, it gives 55 exp a kill and they spawn very often. Or you can continue your journey to Orbis and Ludibrium with the boat that takes off at Ellinia Station. The ticket price from Ellinia to Orbis is 5000 mesos and from Orbis to Ludibrium the ticket costs 6000. When you arrive in Ludibrium, you can start doing the Monster Carnival Party Quest. It's for players between level 31-50, it has a total of 1 stage + bonus. You can enter at several places in every channel, so it should be a lot easier to get into than the Kerning Pq. If you do not wish to do it, you can start training on Teddies, which you find inside the Clock Tower. They give a bit more exp than the Evil eye and they are easier to kill. They are good targets between 31-33, after that, it becomes a bit slow.. So you can continue deeper into the Sky Terrace where you will find Panda and Rolloduck. The Rolloduck gives 70 a kill and the Panda gives you 77 exp. They're the best monsters to train on all the way to level 40, along with Tick-Tocks. At level 35 you can start doing the Ludibrium Party Quest as well! This is for players between 35-50 and has a total of 8 stages +bonus. I strongly recommend to not try this party quest. People doing it are almost worse than the ones doing the one in Kerning City. And they will not party you before your late 40s unless you're extremely lucky and find a party that loves Beginners. You can also purchase a Gold Snowboard for level 36 in the Free Market. They only cost between 10000-30000, or a Red Whip for level 35, they cost between 1-3Million mesos.

    6. Level 41 - 50
Things are getting tougher now, right? Levels won't come every hour like they used to. No, this is how the Beginner functions. Slow and takes a lot of patience. However, if you wish to keep the leveling speed up in a normal pace. You can travel to Mu Lung and fight Straw Target Dummies. They are quite weak and give 135 experience, plus the map is small and as soon as you kill one, a new one spawns. Or you can always go back to Victoria Island and visit the Temple Of Golem. There you will find Stone Golem, they give a whole 170 exp, but they're a lot stronger than the Dummy and the spawn rate is less. When you reach level 42 you can wear the Icarus Cape. It gives +5 Jump/+10 Speed/+15 Avoid. Depending which of the three versions you get. This is the best cape for a Beginner. You can purchase it in the Free Market, or by finishing "Icarus and the Flying Pill", it requires all of Icarus's previous quests to be done. And at level 48 you can purchase a Dark Snowboard, they go for 10000-30000 in the Free Market. Or you can purchase a Maple Weapon, Glowing Whip or a Guan Yu Polearm, however they cost 4-15 million mesos. At level 50 you can take on the Zakum Party Quest in El Nath. It has three stages, two of those that you can do. However the quests are tough and you can only do the quest three times a day, unless you switch party leaders.

    7. 51 - 100
Now you can go do the Ludibrium Maze Party Quest. It's a quest for people between level 51-70 with a total of 1 stage. It gives you a lot of items at the end of every round. These you can (A, use. (B, Sell. If you go for 'B' and sell the items, you can earn a million mesos in just a few hours of doing this party quest. If you do it all the way up to level 70, you will have earned about 30 million mesos or more. An excellent way to make mesos if you are tired of all the training. Or you can go to Orbis and do the Orbis Party Quest. It has a total of 8 stages + bonus. The exp is better than the Ludibrium Maze party quest, but you achieve no mesos out of it. And the exp even gets reduced after you finish the whole party quest once.. The levels between 51 - 60 I suggest you raise some Hp. It's not a must. But if you would ever wish to challenge tougher monsters or perhaps bosses in the future. You should add +5 to Hp between 51-60. Of course, you can stop raising Hp anytime between that if you'd like. At level 60 you can also equip a Blood Snowboard, they should go for between 10000-30000 in every server. And if you still wish to train without party quests, you can stick to the Straw Dummies in Mu Lung. They are more or less the best monsters for a Beginner to train on after 50. You can go to the Forest Of Golem too, there you will encounter the regular Golem plus Dark and Mixed Golem. They give; 170, 200, 210 exp. Although the Dark and Mixed Golems are way stronger than the Stone Golem and they have about 1000 Hp more than the Straw Target Dummy. You can train on both the Straw Dummy and the Golems all the way up to level 80. At that level it will take you about a week or two to level. By that time I suggest you go to Herb Town and take on the Pirate Party Quest. It is the final Party Quest in the game and it is for players between level 55-100. You could get about 1000000 exp a day there, about 600000 more than what you can get from regular training.

    8. Scrolling
There are four types of Beginners -
Defense Beginner: These are Beginners that focus only on Defense to get hit less and have a less pot ratio. A well built Defense Beginner, can have a Golem do 1 damage to him/her.
Low Dex Beginner: This is a Beginner who enjoys to do massive damage. They stop raising their Dex when it's at 30-40 or even less.
High Dex Beginner: This Beginner chooses to raise as much dex as Strength. It simply enables them to hit any monster they want. But their damage is a lot weaker than a normal Beginner
Hp Beginner: The weakest and most expensive Beginner. They don't raise any Strength or Dexterity at all. They add all their ability points into HP. And require a whole lot of accuracy armor to train

Take the class that fits you the best, and scroll after that. The best way to scroll an item is to start with a 30% scroll and finish with all 60% ones. If the first scroll fail, resell the item and try again. Scrolling is very expensive, and you should be absolutely certain that you can afford it before starting. Because if a scrolling attempt goes wrong, the item can become totally worthless and no one would even buy it.

    I didn't notice this 'till now. :x

It has a lot of minor grammatical errors (mainly comma splices and runons), but on the whole, it's pretty good.

Red Whips are more than 1-3m, by the way.
Legendary Spirit shot their prices up to 3-5m in Scania.

Besides this isn't a grammar contest, it's me sharing what I know.

Nice guide, especially for newcomers and unfundeds.

One thing, though. You don't have to go all the way to Ludi to do Monster Carnival PQ. Spiegelmann is in Kerning City and Orbis, for sure, and I think in a few other cities.
    Spoiler!
