I agree with Jed (wtf is wrong with me) and tech support would probably be the best area for this type of sub-forum.

The tech area just makes sense. Mod questions, hardware/software problems, setup concerns,.etc can all be handled here.

May I also suggest that the tech area be re-named as just simply "Tech" as to not exclude this type of sub-forum. The underlying description can still inform people that this would be the designated area for tech support needs as well as any other technology related content.

I would have tech support as sub forum to the gaming one personally.

Wouldn't Tomato Island be much more related? Tech Support is for well... support, and TI has already been the area to discuss other games.

Just my 2 cents anyhow, since others would have no idea to look under Tech Support for games, whereas TI it seems pretty common.

Support would go IN the gaming, not the otherway around.

Makes sense. Only worry I have about this is people may start with the "Halp me hax dis game plz??" all over agian.. but that'll be stopped soon enough.

I'd say 1 subsection would be enough because if we had a subsection for "Music" then "Movies" then etc. tomato island would be clutter.

But on topic, i think it's a good idea to keep track of games.

I still think if it exists it should go under Tomato. The tech section should remain standalone because it's easier for people in need to find. There seems to be a lot of people who rarely come and post at HS, but maybe come for something specific like tech support or a Maple-related question because they know they won't get (probably) ridicule like at SW and Basil and the thread won't get lost instantly. If Games was under Tech, no one would know it was there. If tech was under games, the same.

None of the regulars would hesitate to report people asking for h4xx.
