Okay so I'm necro posting - I think this is a good thread to keep alive [instead of starting a new one, this one isn't terribly past its expiration date!]

Last nigh I saw Into the Wild.
I highly recommend it, and was moved by the film.
Sean Penn did a good job at directing and the scenery was beautiful.
It helps that it was based off a true story - I believe they did a good job with the story and getting the main characters message across.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

Warning, you may have trouble sleeping after watching...as I did.
The crickets and nature sounds last night got to me while I tried to fall asleep!

I saw Miracle at St. Anna last knight, and WOW was that a great movie. The acting was superb and the story was very well written. And it had one of my favorite battle scenes ever.

    Plot thanks to wikipedia:

    噢如果超人会飞
    那就让我在空中停一停歇
    再次俯瞰这个世界
    会让我觉得好一些

    哦拯救地球好累
    虽然有些疲惫但我还是会
    不要问我哭过了没
    因为超人不能有眼泪

I only got the chance to see the first 20 minutes or so. I was highly impressed by the movie.

Also, Fight Club is awesome. Edward Norton has had some pretty good movies.
