I'm not sure if this will actually crave much attention, but I think it would be a nice addition to H-S.
Music is important to almost every one. Most people can't live without it, and it's not the easist thing to search for, even for the most music/tech-savvy of us. We all have different tastes, so we will indeed sometimes clash on opinions, but I figure this thread will give a good channel for some of us who are into the music scene to give and ask for suggestions for good music.
I'll keep a list here in the first post based on genre (Don't rant about genreism, I'm against it, but it's useful) so that you can look up what you might be into. Feel free to list any bands/musicians that you find to be good, in ANY GENRE (and language). If you don't know the genre, don't worry, I'll attempt to look it up.
Rules:
1. No putting down another band. If you think that it's crap, carry-on, you can go ahead and say "I don't like ___" so much, but don't go saying stuff like "___ sucks balls, you should listen to __ they rock so much harder!".
2. Feel free to list a few good songs by them, but don't list a ton of them, a max of 3 per artists that are 'hook' songs to define their general flair if they have one would be good.
(I wish we had something similar to a spoiler tag -sigh-)
It turns out that there is indeed a textual limit, so I'm thinking of a way to work around it. @_@
