I couldn't move from my position.

I saw blood smeared on the concrete floor, rubble scattered throughout the street, vehicles flipped over and immobile bodies laid throughout the street below me...some were not dead, they were calling out, for someone to help them. From the building I stood in, I heard bullets echo through out the city and I saw F16's carry out their air strikes through out the already dead city.

I heard my superior calling out to me. He was firing his M16 out the broken window and was calling for some covering fire while he move's towards the enemy's communication tower.

But...I was frozen still, as if winter had breezed right through this tropical city.

"Private Richie, you're coming with me!" bellowed Sergeant Calloway.

I nodded, still wondering if I had the ability to move.

I took a large breath... held on tightly to my rifle, and quickly followed.

Through the dark hallway, Sergeant Calloway and I went down the long staircase and out the back of the building into the alleyway, hoping we wouldn't be seen. As we were about to move into the open streets I saw a torn up banner blowing through the depressing alleyway. I grabbed it with my left hand, as my right hand held my defense. In large red fonts read:

"Welcome to Havana"

Well, short story I made. I hope you guys like it :3

half way done...too lazy to finish it up...I'll have it done by tonight...and when I say tonight, I prolly mean tomorrow at 5am.

half way through the 2nd part I thought about it, and I think I should only do short stories...mostly because knowing me, I'll get swamped with homework in the future, which is always why I discontinue comics I make.
