    Default Permanent Beginner Guide

    Introduction

A perma-beginner is a permanent beginner or a person who stays
as a beginner forever without accepting on a class.

    Pros of being a beginner:

    • No losing exp at death.
    • Cheap cabs, Hak, and Zipangu prices.
    • No need for mp pots, so you save a lot of money there.
    • You don’t have to buy expensive equips every 3-5 levels.
    • You’re unique.
    • At higher levels lots of people respect you, even level 100s+.

    Cons of being a beginner:

    • NoobsClub : Everything not in pros.
    • Low hp.
    • You’re not too strong.
    • Hard to get in party quests.
    • Lots of annoying noobs ask stupid questions.
    • Low level noobs sometimes insult you.
    • No useful skills.
    • Not many types of equipment. Equipments at higher levels can be expensive.
    • Some beginners look ugly.
    • If you make it to level 70+ you’re most likely a jerk at this point.
    • You can’t get riding animal.
    • Takes forever to kill.
    • You train on rubbish monsters.
    • Limited to 2 – 4 places at level 70+
    • iTCG stuff is expensive.

    Builds

    Basic Build

A basic build that you can’t go wrong with is this:
By level 20 you need 30 DEX.
By level 35 you need 50 DEX.
By level 45 you need 60 DEX.
The rest of your stat points go into STR.
Do NOT ever put stat points into mp/hp unless you are an hp beginner.

    Low DEX build

Low DEX build allows you to have a higher max damage, but as a downfall your accuracy is low so therefore you don’t hit high regularly.

    Pros: High as heck damage.
Cons: Miss on some monsters and bad accuracy.

By level 20 you need 20 DEX.
    By level 35 you need 30 – 35 DEX.
    By level 45 you need 45 – 50 DEX.
The rest of your stat points go into STR.
Depending on how low of DEX you want, you can play around with the numbers.
Although, I wouldn’t recommend playing too much to where your accuracy is too low to hit anything.

    High DEX build

High DEX build has a low max hit but you hit near your max hit more often. In simple terms, your maximum damage isn’t really high, but you hit near your maximum damage a lot more than your minimum damage.

Pros: You hit your maximum damage, or near it, more often.
Cons: Your maximum damage isn’t high.

By level 20 you need 40 DEX.
By level 35 you need 60 DEX.
By level 45 you need 70 DEX.
The rest of your stat points go into STR.
Just like the low DEX build, you can play with the numbers a bit. Although, I don’t recommend your DEX any higher than 90.

screamingstatue.com/accuracy/ - A very helpful site for determining the accuracy you need to hit a monster, and at what percentage you will hit them. (Thanks Alyssa)

    Island

When you first start your beginner, you will be on Maple Island.
It’s recommended that you stay on the island until level 15 so
you can avoid kill stealers on Victoria Island. Level 15 should
    only take 3 – 4 hours.

By level 20 you need 30 DEX.
By level 35 you need 50 DEX.
By level 45 you need 60 DEX.

50 dex at 35? You need 50 dex at 25.. To be able to participate in the party quest of kerning, it's not sure everyone are funded and scroll their armor. And grinding zombie mushrooms with 30-40 dex to 35 is a bit slow : / Wild boar need 45 accuracy to hit 100% that's at 53-54 dex.

I didn't bother to read the rest of this guide.

Feel free to complain if you wish, but I have raised two 7x beginners some 60/40's myself, so I know how to play one.

I liked his guide but did disagree with that. I think you need Dex*2 not whatever that formula is o-O

Incorrect. It requires 25 accuracy to 100% hit zombie mushrooms, and 29 accuracy to hit 100% on wild boars. Seeing how I recommended wild boars for level 30s, you should easily have enough ACC to 100% hit. Also, seeing how I recommended zombie mushrooms at high level 20s to low level 30s, your ACC should also be able to hit 100% on them. If you are able to provide screenshots of a person with the appropriate DEX and no equips, and prove me wrong, then I will gladly adjust it.
