Trojans from MS?
I just woke up and got a trojan notice from Mcaffee saying my PC has been infected by trojan PWS-Zhengtu.
I looked it up and it says Password stealer, and comes from MMORPG games.
I swear if I have been Hacked again.....which so far i havent.
Im changing my password if this is removable. and NEXON IS DOWN! TY Nexon for allowing a threat to my PC since the site wont let me into my account due to errors!
but still, how did I get a trojan from MS(if it is the program) if i havent gotten any viruses or other sorts of problems from this before Patch 56
so something is odd here.

Just so you know MS does send a lot of private info (although not under a name, only a username or so they claim) to their servers from (y)our PC, but it's not too harmful, most Antivirus won't catch this crap thanks to either being shut down or having to allow GG to run on such low levels that it won't catch it.
In any case you should be fine though.

A trojan is something that disguises itself as something else, for example, a "flash download".
My guess is you got it from watching too much unsafe pr0n.
He could have gotten it without doing anything at all. He could have an insufficient firewall and have gotten it from an ad off a site that he might otherwise think trustworthy. There's been things hidden in many ads. MySpace is a known offender.
MySpace is a horrible offendor as well, i've gotten it's trojans thanks to cousins.

my firewall is usually off since it Blocks a few things on my PC such as Maple and my Wii.
I dont go to any Bad sites at all.wonder how it got in my PC then....
the 3 PWS trojans are in quarantine,which I am not sure if thats good. Hope they are gone.

The sites don't have to be "bad." You'd be surprised what gets put in banner ads.
