Chapter 3
Waking up, Chris looked in the mirror. He was quite tall for his age and a strong build, the great combination for a Warrior. Chris shook his black hair before jumping in the river. Walking back to his tent Chris saw something moving around in the bushes, pulling out his Broadsword Chris listened for any sound he could hear. He heard a rustling in the bushes. Sneaking up, Chris held his sword aloft waiting for a sound or movement. All of a sudden a hand rose up out of the bush and grabbed hold of the sword. “What the…!” Chris yelled
Jumping out of the bush was a tall, wolf like man with brown fur brandishing in one hand what looked like a steely and in the other a pocketknife like dagger
“Do not attack my speed is quicker then any thief here” he said in a gruff voice.
“W-w-what do you want” Chris said nervous.
“I want to join you on you journey” he said.
“Why?” Chris said.
“I am … lost”.
“Lost…?”.
“You know what lost means, yes”.
“Uhh… Yeah so you don’t know anything about Maple”.
“You ever heard of Dream kings”.
“Uh no”.
“Well the same applies for me about Maple, so can I join”.
“Uh yeah sure”.
“Oh and I’m know in my land as No-pain but call me Norbit, Norbit Fox”.
“Ok I’m…”.
“I know who you are”.
“Uh… ok”.
And they packed away together but Chris knew there wasn’t something right about him
