Yay Internet!

OK So I FINALLY got the internet, it may be dial-up but it seems faster than normal dial-up as I use a bluetooth phone for my modem. Anyways just wondering, what kind of internet connection the loving random people of HS have?

Oh I am having troble loging onto AIM, do AIM and Dial-Up dislike each other?

we use a linksys cable modem in my house while the other computers are wireless using the router.

Everything hates dial-up.

I'm mad because my parents live in some tiny little cow town and they have this private telephone co-op that installed fiber optic all over town just so they could stay in business. So my parents have fiber optic, the jerks!

Yeah I've never used anything but cable before, though after two years of cell-phone-net, this is heaven x,X What is the difference between DSL and dial if I may ask.
