And for the hell of it, I'll add "Super Abilities" for level 200s. But ignore these; these are just flights of fancy, not an actual suggestion. My real suggestions aren't.
Crossbows: "Ballista"
-Switches out normal Crossbow for a large Ballista (basically a giant, mounted crossbow).
-Reduces attack speed to Very Slow (Slow with Booster) and movement speed by 20%, but dramatically increases attack power (up to 5 AP), and always launches two normal shots instead of one (is this a pro or con? hm...)
-Aesthetically, the arrows/bolts launched become twice as long and a bit wider, with a distinct bolt "Tip".
-Also Aesthetically, it would look killer to ram someone with a Ballista
Bows: "Charge Shot"
-Three types of charge: Rapid, Scatter, Pierce
-Rapid flies a higher than a normal arrow, and in an arc. Along its flight path it "rains" other arrows downwards at an angle. So it can long-range mob. But the strength of it has a sweetspot: not too close, not too far. And it doesn't produce the "rain" effect the launched arrow hits something/is stopped
-Scatter loads up to five arrows into one shot, spreading out like a shotgun-style burst as it travels. Sweetspot is up-close to get all five to hit, but should be cautioned to avoid bow-whacking. Gets dramatically weaker as the arrows spread, and the range is less than a normal shot
-Pierce shoots one arrow straight, and pierces through multiple monsters. Sweetspot is at far range, but unlike the similar Marksman skill, it does NOT get stronger as it passes through each target, rather the target at the end will always receive a critical hit. If shot at a particularly large monster, it will cause up to five seperate hits before the arrow's flight ends
-Each bow randomly shuffles between the charges; ex. Ryden's charge level goes Scatter, Pierce, Rapid. Meaning the three levels of charge produce their own charge type shot.
-The charge shots have only 80% of regular Atk to compensate for their effects
-Yes I know I ripped this off Monster Hunter Freedom 2.
