Pirate Name Change is BLASPHEMY!

Comparing the pirate names with what we have in MS already, they suit up well:

e.g.

Spearman-Dragon Knight-Dark Knight

These names have been used for their descriptive quality, not thier progressive relation. Dragon Knights use mainly Dragon Skills, in the same way Corsairs have an important skill which summons a pirate ship... a corsair)

@ pyrofyr: The progressive relationship doens't mean much at all to most of us, just the description.

@ ElderDragon: Gunslinger doesn't sound imaginative enough? Neither do Spearman, Assassin, Mage etc...these are simply names. And how does Buccaneer not make sense? One of the definitions of buccaneer is 'any pirate'. It's probably the most fitting name in the english language.


The class names are very fitting, but not perfect. Then again how much better can the complainers do?

I also hate the word buccaneer for some reason... I really hate it.

I would love it if the infighters went like this

Pirate-->Brawler-->Infighter-->Viper

It probably doesn't make too much sense, I just like those names :)

This is coming from me, a guy who plays Korean Maplestory. Ahead from the version you play.

Personally, the name changes don't bother me one bit and doesn't really matter to me.

Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is. It's just a name. It's not like they changed the whole job. If it upsets you that much, then just don't make one.

agreed. i actually kinda like the names. :) i really dont care about the name of a class. it's the skills i'm looking at.

They just changed the names... calm down sir. It's not like people go "ew I dun like the name anymore, so screw it"

anyone who's uncreative enough to name their character directly after their class is a dumbass anyways.

I'm 90% certain that no one will be focusing on what their class is called while their grinding their brain to mush. I'd also bet that half the chidren playing maple don't know what a Valkyrie or Corsair is.
