    Default Post and Rate Pirate Skill Builds

    Here's mine:

    My Pirate Build:

    1st Job:

    10: Flash Fist 1
    11: Dash 1, Bullet Time 2
    12-17: Bullet Time 3 (MAX)
    18-20: Flash Fist 3 (10)
    21-23: Somersault Kick (9)
    24: 2 Somersault Kick (11), 1 Flash Fist (11)
    25-27: Save until 27, then 9 Somersault Kick (MAX)
    28-30: Save until 30, then 9 Flash Fist (MAX)

    End:

    Bullet Time: 20 (MAX)
    Flash Fist: 20 (MAX)
    Somersault Kick: 20 (MAX)
    Dash: 1

    This build is designed for the fastest possible leveling. Straight at level 1 is powerful and cheap, so the opening point goes there. Bullet Time is a must-have as soon as possible, as Pirates have worse Acc than Warriors. Then we bring Flash Fist up to 11, just like Warriors do with Power Strike. We got o 11 because there is no MP difference. Then we do the same with Somersault Kick, and then Max them with the saved points. 1 point in Dash is to help the Pirate get around.

    2nd Job:

    30: Improve Max HP 1
    31-33: Improve Max HP 3 (MAX)
    34-39: Knuckle Mastery 3 (18)
    40: 1 Knuckle Mastery (19), 2 Knuckle Booster
    41: 3 Knuckle Booster (5)
    42: 1 Knuckle Booster (6), 2 Corkscrew Blow
    43-48: 3 Corkscrew Blow (MAX)
    49-54: 3 Backspin Blow (18)
    55: 2 Backspin Blow (MAX), 1 MP Recovery
    56-58: 3 MP Recovery (MAX)
    59-64: 3 Double Upper (18)
    65: 2 Double Upper (MAX), 1 Knuckle Booster (7)
    66-69: 3 Knuckle Booster (19)
    70: 1 Knuckle Booster (MAX), 1 Knuckle Mastery (MAX), 1 Dash (2)

    This is what I assume will become the standard build. Max HP is maxed first to get the most out of my HP, and everything else was a no-brainer. Knuckle Mastery is left at 19 because the one point of accuracy isn’t much good (If my accuracy really sucks though, I’ll max it). Knuckle Booster is left at six so I can get my attacking skills sooner. Corkscrew Punch is maxed first because it’s the most powerful, then Backspin Blow (second strongest), then MP Recovery (Save money) and Double Upper for last. Then I finish with Booster, Mastery, and the last point goes in Dash. I could get 1 point in Oak Barrel, but the only reason I’d have it is to get into the Ludi PQ as the guy to get past the invincible monsters, but at level 70 I wouldn’t be able to get into the PQ anyway.

    Great build, but if you want maxed Dash by the end of 2nd Job to have more agility, just leave MP Recovery at 1 and pump the rest in Dash.

    For this build I decided to work on mosy of my accuracy first so I can hit enemies more often, but I decided to pause at 19 and then max out Improve MaxHP, then after that I decided to go on ahead and grab Corkscrew Blow along with Backspin Blow, around this time you may notice that at times you will be attacking slightly slower because of the weapons, and this is why I then thought about grabbing Knuckle Booster to fix that problem, I then stopped at 19 for that move also and maxed out MP Recovery, then after that I maxed out Double Uppercut, my 2 skills that were 19, and put the dead last point into Oak Barrel.

    3rd job skill build coming soon, I am still looking into it.

    I would recomend that you put those extra points into Somersault Kick instead of Flash Fist, since it's your only mob attack for a while.

    Thanks. I might take that advice, and if not I'm definatly taking points out of Backspin Blow to max dash, since I don't really need two mobing skills.

    What do you all think should be done after recoil shot? Blank shot, wings, or booster?

    You move around too much as an Infighter, you will acidently activate Dash, causing you to lose MP, and you need all the MP possible.

    .::. Why Kick before Straight? .::.
    Moon Kick is compatible with a snowboard or fish spear allowing a better weapon attack than Knuckles. Maxed Moon kick allows you to attack 6 enemies at once, allowing efficient training. Quick Motion comes after that to improve the POOR accuracy. You will basicly never use straight, only for the Infighter Job advancement.

    .::. Why Give Gunslingers Dash? .::.
    Gunslingers are able to rish the SP to put into Dash. They do not activate dash very often for they usualy just jump and shoot or stand on a platform and shoot. You do not have to Max Moon Kick for it is not an essential skill. Moon Kick would only be used to Knock back a monster away from you.

    Wow, that makes me so happy! Looks like this job is going to be quite flexible! Plus, I love fish spear, its probably my fav weapon in the whole game. I just wish I knew what other weapons were compatible with pirates so I could make plans now. This is actually going to change my build, screw flash fist :P well actually I can't say that yet, I definitely have to try out both and make sure somersault kick isn't too slow or anything.

    Kick is decent cooldown, and easy to spam.

    Well actually from what I've heard, Somersault Kick can be used with any weapon, or no weapon at all because it kicks!
