So, if its any source about MapleStory shutsdown year 2012 would they not tell the reason? Or do they plan it so not that MapleStory players who spend ALOT of times not beeing angry when one morning they find, i mean not find, MapleStory anymore ^^

The Mayans believed in eras (or whatever you wanna call it)
The era we live in currently is supposedly the 3rd era (correct me if I'm mistaken) and since the last era ended on the 21st of December some time ago, it's only proper that ppl would think that the end of this era is on the same date.

Find someone ANYWHERE saying a different date for this particularly prophecy. The Mayan calendar does not change. Their calendar was more accurate than ours. Please see Nanop's post for details. Enjoy being schooled by a 14 yo.
