Clean your PC, defrag, run disc checks, make sure nothnig is running in the background that doesn't need to be.

If you're using wireless, check the signal, move closer to it, run a cable to your pc from the router, etc..

You think there's a program that will just stop games from lagging? There isn't. Just do what we said.

There's no software to do that, what you CAN do however is upgrade your PC perhaps.

If you post your specs (Processor Speed/Type, amount of RAM, and space on HDD). Video card might help too, but I know nothing about Vcards.

well theres a simple solution to lag in ms.

Go to Game Menu ----> System Options ---> Picture Quality

then move the bar more to the left (Normal) and less lag will be produced. How? It makes ur graphics crappier... but graphics dnt really get too crappy unless u move it all the wasy to the left.

    Pros: Less Lag
    Cons: Background Grahpics suck.

That only helps in certain situations, and it doesn't make that much of a difference. He'd be better off closing applications running in the bg than he would doing that.

That's true, but unless he does normal maintenence like Virus scans, Defragging (once a week or so(you can get away with up to a month, but once a week is optimal), Scandisk, Adware removal, and whatnot, he should be perfectly fine. Every few months he can check for outdated drivers too, but that's not as big of a deal as yeah...
