I don't like that shuttle for the G31 chipset, that's all.

6GB? In 4 dimms? Would that be DDR3? If it's the case, make sure the mobo is DDR3 as well.

    56k modem? :p You're on dialup!?

    Teh hell, dial-up?

That's a pretty sweet setup, minus Vista how much is it, and do you have a link?

My school has Microsoft Alliance so I get almost all the Microsoft software for free. @_@

You gotta hook me up with 7. :P

But back on topic. This is probably pre-built. Even then, it sounds a bit too good to be true. I would be suspicious.

I found it through my company discounts - so I'm sorry I can't give you the link. :(

    And yup, pre built :)

I wonder if it'll act nicely with Maple....

LOL @ the dial up - I need it for the fax line.

In that case, I recommend going for it. It will handle desktop apps nicely as well as lower-end games that you may find online.

Dang, either way, that's nice for the price~

It seems like it'll handle Maple. I loaded Maple up the other day on my old PC 512 MBs RAM, P4 processor... ran smoothly. That PC never gave me any problems, god bless. -Cries because he has to part with it soon-

I wish they gave me 7 with that deal as well. :P Not sure when they 'cancel' the account (you keep the codes, but you can't go downloading stuff after), it could be after the class is over (15 weeks) or after you leave that school (probably December for me). :P
