Lineage?

So I was preforming a virus scan, and it came up with 61 viruses that are supposed to steal account info from a game called "Lineage" [Virus name was "Infostealer.Lineage"]

I got curious and decided to check it out.

Looks pretty nice.
So then I decided to check out the site...and it costs money ;[

How uneventful.

Have any of you heard of this game before? o-o

There's tons of Private servers for the game, I played it for about 2 or 3 weeks. It's insanely big and complex, with a billion clases, skills and items, it has a ton of metagaming elements too, so in short, it was overwhelming for me, so I stopped playing.

But if you want to dedicate good time to an MMO, you should check it out.

If you're going to pay, go World of Warcraft.
For Private Servers, this is probably the best game for it.
The servers are nearly bugfree, with custom GM shops for equipment, and they fixed the slow leveling pace.
It's all about pvp and farming scrolls to enchant your weapons. If you're used to the % rates of scrolling in MS, you'll like that.

I've heard of Lineage II on several occasions and I've always heard it's amazing.
