EDIT: In other news, E8's ending (as in the last five seconds) with the royal flush was incredible. Everything else about it sucked.
Trying out Bakemonogatari, and I'm on Episode 6 right now. This thing is really love-hate for me so far. The first two episodes were ****awesome. But even though the ending was pretty solid, 90% of eps 3-5 was just Calvin & Hobbes-style banter (just replace the sledding with Shaft-style cutaways to various lines of kanji and zoom-ins on someone's Hair-antennae). That kind of stuff is fine if used in moderation, but goddamn, thanks to that, it took THREE ****ING EPISODES to cover what easily could've been a 1-ep story.
FMA: Brotherhood episode 19 was fantastic.
This series is officially awesome.
The pure GAR-ness of Roy Mustang in this episode cannot be put into words.

Yeah, it was one of the better episodes. But as the manga reader, I have a responsibility not to be amused. :|
EDIT: I watched episode 6 of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and I'm loving this. I better still be watching this Negi.
