No. Dex NOT equal to your level.
Warriors don't need dex for weapons/equips, just for ACCURACY.
(1dex = 0.8acc, 1luk = 0.5acc)
So really you need to figure out how much acc you need to hit the guys you train on. In doing so you can between your equips and base dex try and get enough acc to hit 100% while minimizing your base dex as much as possible.

You can do dex = level, but that really doesnt mean much. For some people funding means they have more dex than their level, or others with some cash can stay at 4 dex! Or somewhere in between. For example my 130 Hero has 40dex. Daos another member here has a Paladin with like 15dex or something. I know of another Paladin who has 100dex. Its better to keep it low if you can, but really it just all comes back to what do you need for acc.
