Hey, welcome to HS Absol. I'm Emma <3
Aww, thats a touching poem. It makes me view Alishar as a ...baby giant penguin thing, instead of a big one. x3 I'm checking out your Fanfiction from your siggy now. <3
Anyway, welcome! ^^
Hello, I'm Absol Master. Pleased to meet you all.
So yes, I came here mainly because of the slow rate of posting in FanFiction, and also because the people there have become far too fierce. I'm hoping to start afresh here, though I'll probably be reposting my old fanfics. I hope the community here is more friendly than the one I got to know at FanFiction.
I've seen a bit already—I saw a really long fifty-something chapter story called Infinence, and Within//Without: Two Worlds, which is being updated pretty fast. I also saw your contest notice—and might join. If someone could give me a bit of an intro to this place, that'd be great.
Um...I hope that no one minds me making my introduction like this, and I hope that this message isn't considered inappropriate for this forum.
Alright, since this forum for fanfiction, I'll put in a poem here. Enjoy :D
.:: a l i s h a r ’ s l u l l a b y ::.
Close your eyes now, child,
For the rest of the world is asleep.
Listen to the starlight, whispering through the windows
And think not of the pain that cripples you.
Think not of the decades that pave your road to eternity.
Imprisoned you may be
Here beyond a thousand crystal walls,
Beyond the dirge of oblivion.
But please don’t hide your face, dear child!
Brush your tears away—your sorrow makes my heart heavy.
No matter how the world darkens
How cold the night has grown
Don’t hide your face from it, dearest one.
I will watch you, I promise—
Whispering my own song in your ears
So you may not hear the song of the shadows.
::::
How long has it been, since we tasted the sunlight?
All I hear are the siren songs of the dying
And their empty prayers.
But beyond the shadows that fall, the rivers that die,
Swear that you will not forget my love.
I swear I will not forget yours.
::::
Burden not your heart now—let sleep take you to into its arms of solace.
I will stay awake in your place; I will be your heartbeat.
Promise you will sleep.
Promise you will smile for me, let go of all your pain—
And I promise I will let go of mine.
Imprisoned you may be, dear child—
Imprisoned by forgetfulness, by tears, by midnight.
But as long as I am here with you,
As long as you remember the meaning of love,
Your soul will always be free…
::::
The song that the clock sings to the big blue monster. Check Alishar’s pic if you don’t know what I mean.
I actually have an entire (self-fabricated) story about how Alishar came into existence—but that’s another story, literally. This is like a tie-in.
Well, that's it. Thanks :D

Please read this story. I cannot describe how hard I've worked on the piece; how many tears shed, how many nights of sleep lost.
(Oh, and don't forget the reviews! They really are appreciated:))

Yay, fresh meat in HiddenStreet's Fiction-section!
You might want to search for the following stories and read them up:
A Hunter's Story // Another Hunter's Story, probably the two longest and most famous pieces in this forum, both by XxKiraYamatoxX.
Dreams made from Maple, in my opinion the best written story around :3
I'm also running a fiction called A Ghost's Path where the readers get to influence the storyline a bit, it goes pretty well.
That's a really nice poem. I don't know how poets can do that, but that was great. =D
I'd like to see the Alishar story, if you've got nothing to do. It's something I wouldn't have ever thought of doing, but it would actually be really interesting, I'd think. =o
Welcome to the forums! I'm French.
Not back. Front.
Welcome to the Forums!
Hello there! I'm Lunasaku aka Luna.
I just joined this summer, in June. Everyone here is pretty great, and no one has viciously started a Hot Sands thread against me or my awful fic yet. I'm glad I have another possible contestant— I'm sure everyone wants to see your style of writing! Other than that, welcome to the forums, and have a nice time.

Uwaaah, Kon, can you please don't mention my old fanfics? I'd rather not remember them...
But yeah, welcome to HS's fanfic forum! It's been quite a while since we got a new active member. >.>
Nobody would viciously start a Hot Sands thread against you or your non-awful fic by the way, Luna.
Monster Hunter Tri Status:
- Hunter Rank: HR1 (Yay, me noob)
- Favourite Weapon: Switch Axe

Woohoo! A new member!
Author here who hasn't updated in a while is greeting you. :3
I feel so acknowledged now that I've seen 17 people quote me in their sig. And 4 unfortunately.
Hot girl here:
Spoiler!
Thanks for the welcome! :D
I was actually one of the more prominent authors in the Maple section at FF. One of my fanfics I actually had the honour of being voted "most touching story": fanfiction.net/s/4245175/1/. Remember, I wrote it when I was thirteen, so it's a lot worse than my real standard xD
Oh, and for those who were curious/asked, this is the Alishar fic I wrote: fanfiction.net/s/5429933/1/
By the way, I submitted a short story here a few days ago--if you want to read. It's called Dancing Dolphins, but it is NOT about marine life.
I'll find my way around, I guess. Thanks for the recommendations. And thanks once again for welcoming me so warmly--I didn't quite expect such great response.
