Zombie Apocalypse
More than likely there's already a thread about this but whatever. Anyhoo, lately I've been thinking and feeling that there will indeed be a zombie apocalypse. And because of something I read on the internet, stating 5 reasons why a zombie apocalypse is very possible, I'm really thinking a zombie invasion will happen. The 5 reasons may or may not be true, but to me they seem like very good, understandable reasons. So really, all in all, does anyone think a zombie apocalypse will happen?
Just discuss that and what you would do in case it does happen, or anything concerning zombies really.

I wasn't completely talking about actual dead people rising from the grave, I wasn't talking about that kind of zombie, I actually meant Resident Evil type of zombies (Biohazard to some people here). Nevertheless, you are right.

Infection/disease zombies have a tiny bit more chance of happening, but vaccines are often found quickly, unless you're also thinking L4D-style zombies. In that case, CEDA sucks.

actually i too have read an article (twice) that listed 10 possible ways it could happen. but i forgot how to find it.
with science these days, although it may be unlikely to happen it is at least possible.
@failFTW: maybe not raise the dead necessarily but there is such a thing as a parasite that causes its host to become cannabilistic and destroy its thought process in order to move to other hosts. as of now it only takes home inside a certain specie (i forget i think it might have been in ants or rats or something) but who knows it could evolve to be able to effect humans for all we know. also since the parasite eats at its hosts' brain (it controls them by literally hooking up to their brain actually) the host can only live for up to 48 hours or something like that.
48 hours? Then it's not a zombie apocalypse.

for that specific host. if it spreads to others then yes it would be considered an apocalypse that can go on for quite some time. maybe not years or anything, but possiblly months if things go well for their side
