12 stat hat quests

I'm stuck with the dark lord quest. Been hunting Orange mushys forever but they haven't dropped the sample thing yet. Help I guess?

Are you fighting CYNICAL Orange Mushrooms? Because those won't drop it I beleive, If you're fighting normal orange mushies it's just a matter of patience, It took me 20 minutes to get my first stiff octo leg but I did get it eventually, It just takes some time. I hope this helped.

I found it out, you have to have 50 of their drop. So like for the octopus, you need 50 octopus legs and then it drops, and same for the mushys.

One other question, I tried doing the same quest on my sin but it won't let me. Is there a level limit or something?

I believe the level limit is 41+ (Meaning up to, including, lv 40 can do the quest)
