Wouldnt the other way make more sense?
Coverts 10% scrolls into 100% at a 10% chance and 60% scrolls into 100% at a 60% chance
Not that nexon makes sense very often........
I like Arans. Mob skills while in the wee beginner levels make me high *wheeeeee*
And the combo counter is like a pandora's box for thousands of memes to come.

Stupid cow. Stupid, stupid, stupid cow.
The faces of Hidden-Street, through the years
This would be cool under certain conditions:
- Of course, limited to PQ. You wouldn't want random ppl going ahead and killing you off. Call it something like Gladiator PQ, and limit it to the land of Arans (which gives a reason to go there).
- No exp/items lost by kills. But exp/items awarded by winners.
- 1v1 or teams up to 4v4. Winning team wins exp, and bonus items. Characters that made kills also get exp, even if their team lost.
- Items are based upon levels of team (filed into categories based on level, INCLUDING equips).
- Characters can accept a handicap of up to 10 levels. So a team can choose to fight another team 10 levels higher, getting the higher level items if they win.
- I'm not sure whether or not big moves like Genesis should be allowed. Probably so, since they are pretty much the only thing for 4th level Clerics.
- Oh yea, and support abilities like Revive work. This gives Clerics an edge even though they aren't big killers. A Revive counts as a kill would for exp points (see above).
- Levels partitioned from 70 all the way up to 200, I hated CPQ since it at most went up to 70, and I was already 80 (after 120, it might as well be open for everyone without 10-level partitions, as 4th job means you're tough enough to handle some really bad stuff).
So this would be broken into:
-I want a One on One Battle!
-I want a Team Battle!
-I Want a Handicap...
-I want an Ultimate Team Battle
(Ultimate would unlock massive attacks like Genesis, but would also release various powerups, landscape barriers, etc.)
-Please Explain the Rules...
Then you'd get a menu about
-Level 70 Party
-Level 80 Party
-Level 90 Party
-Level 100 Party
-Level 110 Party
-Over Level 120 Party
(If you choose Handicap your pary can be +/-10 levels from whatever party joins)

i was gunning for something like that.^^ thanks for fleshing out the idea.
1v1 duel, or 4v4 co-op carnival style(no exp or item loss on death) would be epic
S< trade win pvp!
Wee... I'll bet that Nexon America will screw this again.
I'm Retired.
They already have. They pushed the Wednesday Dec 9 release even given by the videos involved, back to December 10. I'm just hoping Maple will never get to the point where I can't actually play it due to glitches getting in the way. If that happens, I'll nail Nexon for all the money I've spent.
No you wont, because their disclaimer will prevent you. You have no rights to your account and the money you've spent on it.
I'd rather they push back the patch if necessary then push it through regardless of issues.
