    Default help: need to play 1 handed

    I got surgery today. they had to put in a plate/screws to lengthen my radius bone since it healed short of what it was supposed to last year from the snowboarding accident.

    so...
    ill be in a cast on my right arm for a month
    im free to use my left hand.

    how can i play my aran with 1 hand? whatever way possible. maybe get one of those single hand key pad things might work?

    Only way I could see you doing this would be to either use your left hand on arrow keys, or get a gamepad and play it out.

    Like a PS3 controller or something. Joystick to move, shoulder buttons for attack and jump or something, then pots on the other keys or something.

    You only need one FINGER to play an aran. Seeing that your left arm is free...

    Ctrl = attack
    Shift = booster
    Arrow keys = move
    , . ; ' = pots and etc
    Butts.

    ^ Clearly you don't have combo smash yet, which requires V(< or >)Attack. Regardless of how slow you can input this and still use it, you pretty much need more than that to do it.

    ah i see just move my keys around the arrow buttons.
    good thing aran's skills are more passive.

    just need attack, jump, and pots

    I think I can, because CTRL is RIGHT THERE.

    Butts.

    I have not one but two gamepads, myself. I'm not sure there's a way to do this, though, since the way Maple sets it up, it is mainly keyboard-based.

    I have a full size desktop keyboard from 20 years ago. My suggestion for those who are still using ancient keyboards:
    train your middle finger, your ring finger, and your pinky.
    if you turn off num lock, then you're golden. You have 4 to move left, 8 for up, 6 for right, 2 for down, and 7 for home, 9 for page up, 3 for page dcown, 1 for end, 0 for insert, and . for delete. I won't tell you which key goes for which, but since I'm left hand dominant, I think that you should use home and end to pot, (7 and 1) del (.) to attack, and 9... suit yourself. I've never tried that before, but it should work. Just remember... this might very well be the last time your number pad works.
