I'll use a random example: I want to see and pinpoint a certain post in the chat thread I made a year back to reference in a new thread that has been made. Using the feature explained, the link would take me to a new page filled with my posts, new to old, from the chat thread. It would then be 10x easier finding old posts for referencing.

Edit: noticed that the changes made in this update made it so the page that comes up is a list of threads made by the user.

Crap yeah I mistook what the original problem is again. >_> Sorry for being a little dumb.

I saw that the "quote snapback" feature was fixed (it was broken previously), and this was indeed fixed, but not the problem described in this thread. Will again bring this to the attention of vB's developers.

At least now the "New Post" link works correctly. For the longest time, I'd hit the Go To First New Post icon and it would bring me only to the top of the page and not to the actual post. Progress is good.

I just realized a problem that's pretty much the same but in a different area:

When you go to a user's profile and click "find all posts" to see the user's latest post to older. That doesn't happen anymore. It does the same thing as the original problem by only showing the threads the user posted in.

Now to play the waiting game. :)

The contents of the posts aren't being shown, that's the problem

There's no setting currently to adjust that.
