Cool. Also Wednesday night. Thursday morning I played SMP with a friend. Great stuff.
Edit: Also there's day/night and chickens and pigs (both invincible) in SMP now, in addition to being immortal yourself somehow. Someone also said:
* You can now empty your bucket of milk by using it on the ground.
* Right clicking on usable blocks makes your arm swing to match the thirdperson animation for right clicking.
* Thirdperson view is centered again.
* Bugs
o Items left on crafting table when exiting it are deleted forever.
Bugs include doors not working and an item cloning glitch.
Apparently the multiplayer mobs can only be killed by fire.
Apparently I still can't decide which skin to use. I just don't know who to be.

Are you guys playing Classic, Indev, Infdev, or Alpha?
I'm stuck playing classic and seem to be missing these awesome pre-generated worlds.
Alpha Single-player Survival is the only thing that works for the most part.
Multiplayer Survival has the following VERY NOTICEABLE bugs:
-Can't die, can't kill anything (other than pushing it into lava, setting it on fire, or explosions)
-Dropping a tool recovers all its health
-Minecarts freak out and disappear and stuff
-Even when on peaceful mode, all the monsters are just invisible, so creepers will still explode, making what looks like random explosions wherever you are
-Sometimes the models will bug out and start floating and flashing
-Doors will not make up their minds
-etc
