Basically it uses accelerometers to adjust your 'view' of the game.

I'm most likely going to buy this either way, I've loved what they do with new DSes, sure I didn't get a DSi because my DSLite is still in perfect condition and the DSi flashcarts weren't perfected, but I'll probably grab the 3DS a month after it's out since by then a flashcart will be ready.

To me, it makes the DSi XL seem pointless. I heard it's bulky too.

I was actually considering getting the DSi XL. I still have the phat, so the XL wouldn't be too much of a size difference for me. But now I'm just going to wait it out.

I can imagine kids going blind after spending hours staring at those little tiny screens looking @ something 2D but tricking u to perceive it as 3D. I probably won't be getting that unless it gets ultra good reviews :P

Actually that's the 1 kind of 3D that I would be happy with
