Sniper Skill Build

Hello guys. I recently started an xbowman and got to sniper yesterday. Right now it's lvl 71 and I have no clue what to put my sp in. Right now all I have is lvl 1 strafe and lvl 3 MB.

I have tried searching the forum for builds but most of them were extremely outdated and I'm sure that they have changed over the years to accommodate the various different monsters available for training.

I've heard going Eruption build is best since it mobs

Sniper functions much the same as ranger does in 3rd job, You're going to want your Arrow Eruption skill. 21 Blizzard Shot. and very little (if any) Thrust. You can pretty much Look up a ranger guide and change the names as needed.

Also, Snipers have no need for maxed Golden Eagle. Their 4th job summon will freeze enemies, and will be much stronger.

If you see a build that says to max Thrust and gives no further explanation, ignore that guide! Thrust adds 2 speed every level until 10, then 1 speed after that (for a total of 30 speed). The reverse crossbow gives 12 speed, and the MoN gives 5 speed. That's a total of 17 speed you're probably going to have any way. Since the speed cap is 140, having max thrust with these equips is a waste of points. ONLY upgrade thrust to the point that it helps your total speed.
