Look at other major gaming titles, Counter Strike, Warcraft 3 , Starcraft 2, Modern Warfare 2 , any of these titles would cost more than $25 I reckon.

You can't compare Warcraft 3 and MW2 like that. Warcraft 3 is so much older. It cost just a little over 10$ here.

Going to a 3D movie and getting popcorn+pop is also $25. That only lasts what....3 hours max? Movies COULD be free (online), but lots of people still choose to pay for them. There are things that eat up your money even more than Maple Story if you let them get out of control. I wouldn't worry about $25, because more likely than not, there is something worse you've wasted your money on.
