I install the updates that they remind me that I need to download and restart even though i press postpone every time. Then, while its sleeping and I'm at school, it installs it. No problem, really. But the fact that when I turn it back on, it says my copy of Windows isn't genuine and I need to reactivate it to stop that stupid pop-up that says its not genuine and I need to reactivate and so I can put a wallpaper on my desktop again, pisses me off. I'm doing what you're asking me to, window's, and now you want me to put the activation code, which is scratched out now because it's at the bottom of my laptop, and I can't read it? Ugh

yeah maybe ill contact microsoft/manufacturer. but windows came pre installed so i can't, starlit.

Request a backup CD from your manufacturer, or better yet, get your Windows validated and create your own backup CD.
