I don't have any hats, and I don't wear one regularly either.
However I would totally wear a magician hat of some sort around casually.

I wore a black felt-type-texture fedora to prom. I dressed "30's finest" for prom night. Felt good man.
I still occasionally wear it for occasions where I need a getup. Take, my grandmother's 80th birthday celebration. I was a co-emcee, so I decided to go with a "host" look - fedora and suit vest to go on top of regular formal pants + dress shirt.
when in doubt I wear a fedora. I love hats.
I have an old woman's stetson hat from the 80's
