Aw, I guess that means we can't make fun of of DNF after more than a decade of leaving the fans in the dust.

I have no expectations since it is developed by Gearbox (the guys who made off with Valve's success stint of Half Life 1 with Opposing Force and Blue Shift and the smoke isn't cleared yet if they are official canon or not) we shall see.

Then again, Borderlands is a bit fun.

Valve used Barney from Blue Shift in the HL2 series, but nothing has been heard of from Adrian Shepard yet.

As far as a demo video I saw from some conference in Amsterdam, it looked pretty funny (kicking the eyeball of the monster you kill like a field goal)

Well a few of the original programmers of duke nukem 3D are working with gearbox, so the game should have SOME of the old duke nukem style.
