Reason: At the beginning, you want to place 1 in Quad Blow, (which is your main attack now,) because that already out damages your Triple Blow. One in Dark Chain so you can start pulling enemies in, (I'm aware that this skill has a very short distance at first, but hey, you are attacking as close as an Aran, you might need that little pull.) And of course, you begin adding points into Staff Mastery. The reason why it has been left at 5 just so you can have 1 Yellow Aura and 6 Booster is because Battle Mages are meant to attack really fast. I have read guides that people haven't put one in Yellow Aura with the booster, and I think it is better because if you haven't known, Auras last until you logged off (or die.. but I'm not sure.) and it also stacks with your booster, making you attack real fast. Once you have that minute long Booster, you need to start maxing Staff Mastery for stable damage. Then of course max your main attack, and then place 3 in Blood Drain, because it might actually help you save pot money, BUT you leave it at 3. Max Dark Chain so you have have longer stun, (Dark Chain isn't really meant to damage.) Then you max booster so you don't have to rebuff every minute. I do not know if placing 1 in Blue Aura isn't going to do anything, but hey, someone might have survived with only 1 HP because of it.. but you max Yellow Aura so you can walk faster and then Blue Aura because this is only good for bossing, which you wouldn't be doing at such a low level.
