    Default Top/bottom/overall

I was looking at end game gear for a theif, since that's what I got, but for a dexless one.

Is it generaly better to go with topwear/bottom-wear and scroll for Luk(on top) and Dex (on bottom) or just pump pure Overall (luk)?

The difference in Item level would be 90/90 or 120 which I believe leaves them in the same potential bracket if I'm not mistaken.

I haven't yet successfully made a no secondary stat char and I was wondering what this looks like in practice.

The top/bottom will give you more potential stats, since each is a separate piece of armor.

You'd be better off doing low-dex so you can equip a full lvl 80 set (at least). It will be incredibly difficult to do this with just 25 base dex.

This is what my Assassin looks like with 25 base DEX.
    Spoiler!

Note that's at 120 (so I'll be using nub gear until 120), and that I'm getting the bare minimum of 120 so that I can equip level 80 gear. The 9% DEX comes from 9% all stats, 6% on my cape and 3% on my earrings. The "rings" include an Aura Ring I got from Gachapon Surprise a few months ago (it'll go down by 1 DEX after it expires), the Cape is +6 60% DEX scrolls; the Belt is a Black Belt with +3 DEX, the Scar helm is an average DEX Scar hat, and my HTP is 22 all stat, +6 DEX potential'd.
All in all, it's going to cost a LOT to get that 25 DEX up to 120 without sacrificing any LUK. Even I had to sacrifice my cape (to scroll for DEX), but that's fine because it's from my Corsair anyway.
