I'm bored of Maple (hit 130), and feel like playing a different MMO, so I've decided to pick up Ragnarok Online.
I was under the impression that Gravity removed their pay-to-play policy, but then found out that they didn't, or the better server you have to pay for. Or something like that.

Either way, the official server is pretty dull (leveling = major grind), so I've decided to play on a (high rate) pserver.

Anyway, anyone care to join me? My IGN will most likely be Flight, but we'll see once I actually get it installed.

I rather play a classic RO with transcendent without those new changes.

Well... I'm not sure if it actually has the 3rd jobs. From what I've seen it doesn't (from the main town and the other players in it), but yeah...
Apparently they have some of it.

And I also grew tired of maple a month or two ago, I can't stand grinding anymore knowing that GW2 and D3 are on the way.

aparently, the entire thing is going free in march, which is good news i guess, and i mean no premium servers, just free server(though i do believe that all the stuff premium servers have is going to be on all the servers)

Yes but this game on 1x is like Maplestory on 0.1x, it's horrible.

I started playing on OldschoolRO last night.

Seems like a pretty good sever. There are lots of foreign people, so watch out for pinoys. They have plenty of non-donator pvp, duels, and @pk, as well as a big group of people who WoE from what I've read.

It also uses the old job system. Trans classes, no 3rdjob.

There's also a bunch of custom headgear/wings quests, as well as a goldroom, token quests, voting pts for items, etc.
