Maple opens so much slower than it used to.

As the title says, maple opens reaaalllyy slow, then stays at the black screen reaallly long, it never did this before, its been doing it for the past week or so.

How much slower is it? It seems like a lot of people are having this issue, although I haven't experienced it on either computer.

I have this too. Pretty sure it's just Maplestory, not your compooper. My other programs load just as fast as before.

Although I myself haven't had this problem. I do however, have this problem where maple would freeze for half a second every time I talk to NPCs or open the Menu

So is there any way to make MS load launch faster, it takes roughly about 15 min for the game to appear. What the hell? I swear in the past, took no more than 5 minutes to upload and play Maple on this crappy old laptop.

This is exactly what i posted in my other thread. They better fix this, i already promised some friends from SnowKiss i would be on, since i have been gone for a few weeks. Good that nexon is looking at this issue =)

My assumption is that you need to load the "Resistance" video every time you open Maple. Seems like it would slow your Computer down quite a lot.

Which is why i remove the video to somewhere else. If even without the video, still goes so freakin' slow

I've noticed that too, except it's shorter than half a second. It seems similar (but not nearly as bad) as the fps lag we got after Evan came out.

off-topic, but i've noticed that I have to cc twice in order to actually cc into a channel.

^^^ I get that too, uber annoying, you get hit in between ant it ****s up the hole thing. Its CERTAINLY, not 15 minutes, more like 8ish, still long though, well, as long as it gets fixed at some point
