Pretty much. However damage isn't applied as you would think. You only see MISS, COOL, CRITICAL! Also HP is used differently. I'm not really all to great on the subject though.

Yeah, that's why it's so unbalanced. Dual bladers rip everyone up. Among other classes like bowmasters, nightlords, evans, sairs etc etc.

Basically, DBs were essentially 1-chains of hell killing people.

If I ever touch PVP, I'm going to run around with Powerguard and my terrible ping. At least people are going to get hurt from me.
