    When most high schools teach Inferno, do they teach the rest of the Divine Comedy as well?

    Those two are incredibly boring. That's the reason I began thinking, "If people in heaven are [insert trait here], I'd much rather be in hell. So much more interesting!"

    Yea, I think everyone used something like that. As long as you try to read through it and pay attention in class, sparknotes isn't really cheating.

    I do not understand the old english that shakespeare was using...for example in macbeth, the three witches were saying like fair is foul and foul is fair, and the teacher was asking us what that meant. how should i know

    That's not Old English. It's "translated" late Middle English.

    Why is that phrase confusing? I understand that there are many difficult things about Shakespeare, but that's pretty straightforward. Nothing, not even good and evil, is definite.
