Post Caos - which job for bossing solo or in v. small parties

I just don't like to party, I can't explain why, but I never have. sorry.

So, post-chaos, is there one job that can solo (lower level) bosses? or, with just one other buddy (at most, two)? (feel fee to discuss which job cominations, if you want to)

Note: this isn't just another "which job is best ?" post... (it's just another "I hate to party, so which job is best?" post F2)

I would guess DK, but am not so sure about new Chaos jobs

I was sort of hoping for an explanation ... from ... I dunno say Latanica to Pink Bean .... just a rough guide ... any help at alll ...

I don't know if Pink Bean is a very small party boss. Seems more like 6 people. I say a Paladin. They have high defense, protective skills, and deal good damage in the process. They are pretty good if you're looking for a survival character.

Heroes = offensive
Paladins = defensive
Dark Knights = somewhere in between


I would actually say Heroes, as most bosses past Horntail/Chaos Horntail would require insane amounts of funding to solo. However, if you do decide to try and solo Cygnus Empress and Pink Bean, Paladins would probably be a smarter choice, as the enhanced survivability is about the same as the difference between a blob of jelly and a brick. In Tespia...let's just say maxing Guardian does wonders.

Now we're getting some good feedback. Thanks, guys. I doubt that that I would ever get to soloing Pink Bean :-) but this is good advice. I could always get a bud or 2 if I must, but I don't like to PT with starngers, so prefer to solo when I can.

Even if only helps me to lvl 160 or so, max 180, I can force myself to PT the rest of the way & forego the drop. It just seems like you have to boss to level, beyond a certain point ...

It's good to note that you'll probably need to party with people to get to 160 in the first place. Fourth job solo training is extremely slow.

Well, I have always been slow. Sometimes I don't train for months because of work. Sometimes chat with buds. Sometimes I PT I/L n00bs, much as I dislike partying, just to pay back for those who helped me when I was starting out.

Slow? I have taken 4 or 5 years to get to lvl 133 F2 Otoh, if I put in 3 or 4 hours after work I can level in 2 days or so. I take the long view but just fancy reaching level 200 once.

I've taken 5 years to reach 134 as well, so we've been in the same boat.

DK is offensive= =, they can't hold shield, and their dmg is higher than hero.

and for the original post. Solo bossing... pap is the only good one that i recommend.
solo bossing job... paly, shadow, bowmaster, wild hunter
