I don't want to recommend Intel HD but this might be your best bet. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230533
Intel HD 4000 isn't so bad but I don't know how it will be with League of Legends.
I'm trying to get a laptop for a friend.
Here is their limits:
-Must run League of Legends smoothly.
-Must be around $500.
Now start suggesting!

"Budget," "Laptop," and "Gaming" do not go very well together. :P
But anything with Intel HD 4000 graphics should probably do just fine. F2P MMO's work okay with my HD 4000 graphics; runs a little too warm for me if using "high" settings. I believe AMD's integrated graphics are better than Intel's, however the tradeoff is a less powerful CPU.
I hate to refer you to another forum, but try making a thread here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/what...-should-i-buy/.

If I remember correctly, the more popular "gaming" laptops are an HP Envy 6, Lenovo Y-something(sorry, forget the exact model number), or a Sager/Clevo(use a reseller if you get one of these). Of course, your friend will have to add ~$400+ to the budget for those.

Imo wait for black friday.
League of Legends will run on practically any modern laptop at the $500 price point.

Not sure if your friend got one yet, but the Lenovo the one guy posted on the other forum looks nice: http://tinyurl.com/9jwc6pe
