Losing my Upload speed

Faulty wireless card or your laptop's motherboard is bad or something.

faulty already? I just got this laptop 3 months ago and the upload hasn't worked since getting it. So you really think its faulty right out of the box?

so even though I've tested it and it says its working properly and I can still access the internet, download things and surf the web it's still a faulty wireless card?

wireless I get 0.64mbps
and hooked up the way Omar suggested I get 0.65mbps

see what happens is, if I start to upload something my speed is gone, the page times out

The wireless card and the ethernet port are controlled separately on a computer so if both are broken, it's probably an issue with the motherboard entirely or maybe it's your ISP's fault.

I don't see how a 3 month old computer can have a broken wireless card and ethernet port as well as something wrong with the motherboard.

it has to be something in my settings somewhere but I dont know where.

I have no problem downloading I can download like a champ, I can be on the internet just fine with no problem till I try uploading something then i have problems.

He's suggesting it's just the motherboard that has an issue, not the two other components.
My PCI-E slot was broken out of the box. Sometimes things just never work to begin with.
I'm not saying that's necessarily going to be the answer, but being new shouldn't rule it out.

Ok.. so I'm assuming there's nothing I can do unless I send my laptop back and have them look at it?

I mean there's no way for me to test out the motherboard right?

let me ask this, does port forwarding have anything to do with my problem? because I was testing my ports and the one I use is closed... does that mean anything?
