    Default Losing my Upload speed

Ok I got a new laptop in november. I have another p/c that is hooked up a modem and a router. My laptop is using the wireless router to connect to the internet.

My queston is this, whenever I try uploading something weither its on photobucket, tumblr or youtube it takes forever. Sometimes the browser stops responding all together and I have to shut the browser down and reopened it. When I'm uploading something I have tried checking the upload speed and it shows it at 0.

here's the thing, the other p/c I have is much much slower than my laptop but it can upload just fine.

I'm not sure what's going on, I dont think its the equipment since it works with my p/c just fine.

Maybe I configured something wrong? I dont know I just need some help.

I will provide you with as much information as you need for you to help me. just let me know what it is.

    thanks
I'm on windows 8, using firefox
I have used chrome and IE and I get the same results.
For Firefox and Chrome I have shut off the add-ons and done the privacy browsing and it does no good.
I've also rebooted in safe mode with networking and did the same thing with firefox and chrome and it does no good.
I've turned my windows firewall off and it does no good.

so I'm at a freakin loss here. I could use some help

Perhaps the wifi thing inside your laptop itself is not good? That's the only explanation I can think of. I don't have information or back up on this, but it seems to me that hooked up internet connection to a modem would be faster than wireless.

    Sorry, i edited my post.

Ah okay. If it's only upload speed, then I really have no idea.

It could be because of the wireless part of your router or your laptop's wireless card. Try plugging your laptop in directly to your router.

Take the cable that's plugged into your desktop and plug it into your laptop.

ok I did that and at first it didn't seem like it was going to upload as the speeds on photobucket showed it at 0.00 but it worked. I'm testing out a bigger file something over 13mbs but its still trying to upload.

so I'm not sure what this all means... unless my wireless settings are completely wrong.

Faulty wireless card or your laptop's motherboard is bad or something.
