    Default Random Keyboard Disconnects

So I got this keyboard yesterday
    Spoiler!

And I'm pretty happy with it. Nice and responsive, the keys feel nice, and the backlighting looks pretty awesome. Problem is though, it randomly disconnects for 2-3 seconds every 20-60 or so minutes, then reconnects. Any ideas?

    Details:
    Spoiler!

    1) Check common areas of breakage in the cable
    2) Try it in a different USB port (try a front one even ._.)
    3) Try it in a different computer.
    4) RMA!

Will do & will post results later. Also not completely related but my mouse sometimes doesn't work when my computer boots up. All of the button lights and stuff are on but it doesn't click or move and I have to unplug and plug it back in 3-4 times for it to start working. Doesn't disconnect afterwards though. Any thoughts?

I think Mechanical switches are pretty hard to fake

Same problem, arguably worse in a different USB port for some reason. And I'm pretty sure it's a legit kb.

If you can exchange it works fine, then it's faulty wiring. Otherwise if you do that and it still is the same then it might be a faulty USB switch?

    Update:
I was typing an essay on word and (of course) I was still having this issue. I noticed, though, the amount of time it turns off for is exactly the same each time, because when it turns off, if I was holding down a key, it will continue pressing it. Whenever it turned off while I was typing, I would always get exactly 1 line (and a bit) of the held-down letter. If I can, I'll try to exchange the cable next time I go to the shop.
