    Default Bowmaster Hyper Skills

I'm going with both anyway, but I was wondering exactly how the new Hurricane hypers worked.

    Hurricane's base damage is 300%
    Hurricane- Reinforce (hyper): "Damage +20%".
    First question. Does this mean Cane+Reinforce is 320% (300%+20%) or 360% (300+.2x300)?

Hurricane- Split Attack (hyper): "Number of Attacks +1, reduces Damage to 65% of the original Damage"
Second question. Does this mean [(300x.65)x1.2]x2 for 234%x2=468%
Or does it mean [(300x.65)+(300x.2)] for 255%x2 510%

    tl;dr
Does Hurricane -Reinforce multiply or add in?

I figured I should ask before trying to test it myself, which can be difficult with AFA on low-level (no PDR) mobs and such a small variance in possibilities.

    Spoiler!

You can probably check by resetting your AP and using a lower att weapon/equips until you have a stable damage range (~1k or ~10k)

    I don't have a Bowmaster so I can't check it myself personally.

If you don't know the answer kag, then don't post. This question is not exclusive to bow masters either.

The Hyper Skill Reinforces which give +20% damage or some variation of a % damage boost is multiplicative. You get straight up 20% more damage overall on Hurricane then. Formula wise, your range is multiplied by 1.2 when using Hurricane. It's no different from the %total damage potential line. In fact, in the formula, your +20% reinforce is added with your %total damage.

Same thing applies for the split attack. Numbers are less impressive but when you start capping you'll do twice the damage.

Since multiplication is commutative (5 x 2 = 2 x 5), it does not matter if the calculation from the split occurs before the calculation from the reinforce.

    tl;dr
    360%
    468%
    if 0% total damage

Ah, thanks! I figured they multiplied in for 468, but I was secretly hoping for the slight boost from adding after a split.

Your bowmaster's existence invalidated by kag
but she does have a wind archer.
